Yesterday morning I got to meet Jay Towers at the Moosejaw in Birmingham. He did "look lives" all morning promoting Moosejaw's "Backpack Promotion Thing" for the South Oakland Citizens for the Homeless. So far, Moosejaw has collected enough backpacks to support all the guests at SOCH. The extra backpacks will be given to other local charities that can use them. We are so excited that the efforts to help one charity will now help several. Pretty cool.And you know, I have to say, that of all the local stations, FOX 2 is the one with it's finger on the pulse of Detroit. They cover local news the best, the coolest and the most interestingly. They're the station I watch.
